Locals laud Vietjet Thailand sustainability efforts in Phetchaburi

Vietjet Thailand efficiently concluded its Fly Green sustainability marketing campaign in Phetchaburi as we speak, 1st August.

The marketing campaign sought to strengthen the airline’s dedication to defending the atmosphere via hands-on motion and neighborhood engagement.

We are dedicated to contributing to the conservation of natural resources, minimizing environmental impact, and fostering sustainability awareness among our staff and passengers through various ongoing initiatives and activities carried out over the years under the Fly Green campaign.”

As a part of its long-term sustainability imaginative and prescient, Vietjet Thailand stays devoted to increasing its Fly Green initiatives, inspiring larger environmental consciousness, and taking daring motion to protect Thailand’s ecosystems as we speak and into the longer term.

A collaborative effort

This marketing campaign was a part of Vietjet Thailand’s ongoing Fly Green Fund initiative, a company social duty programme devoted to selling sustainable growth, ecosystem restoration, and environmental schooling throughout the nation. 

Organised in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Chaipattana Foundation, and educational establishments, the Fly Green programme brings collectively communities to participate in hands-on actions that profit the atmosphere and lift public consciousness.

This time’s initiative resulted in the gathering of over 500 kilograms of marine and shoreline waste via the nineteenth Fly Green: Garbage Hunter exercise at Chao Samran Beach. 

This brings the whole quantity of waste collected all through the undertaking to over 5,300 kilograms. 

Furthermore, the fifth Fly Green: Mangrove Forest marketing campaign achieved 3,000 mangrove timber planted, and 10,000 freshwater fish launched into the wetlands of Laem Phak Bia.

Pongisara Roilap, supervisor of the Phetchaburi Provincial Office of the Royal Project at Laem Phak Bia, praised the collaborative effort.

He mentioned: “This is a commendable collaboration between the Laem Phak Bia Royal Project, the Chaipattana Foundation, and Vietjet Thailand in organizing a mangrove planting activity aimed at preserving and restoring environmental quality, creating balance in the ecosystem, and serving as a learning center for the public and future generations. Our project is ready to support the airline and the public with knowledge on the conservation of natural resources and the environment through this joint mangrove reforestation effort here in Phetchaburi Province. In addition to increasing green spaces, the activity also fosters awareness of the vital role mangrove forests play in local communities and surrounding ecosystems. I firmly believe that today’s activity will serve as a starting point for positive change: benefiting the community, the environment, and the sustainable well-being of the people.
